My Christmas Plans
I took off this week from work so that I could venture to my grandmother’s to help her set up for Christmas. However, Mother Nature has other plans for my family. My grandmother already has 15 inches of snow on the ground with another storm coming through in Tuesday then Friday and Saturday. This has forced me to stay right where I am at which is at home. Thanks to Mother Nature not...
Events of Today
Today started off rather uneventful. I managed to go to work without a new tire because they can’t seem to get it from their warehouse to the store which is maybe 10 miles away from one another. Work was awful. I ended up doing the work that people who worked lunch didn’t do then was forced to leave early because we were dead. However, as a result, I had dinner with Dahlia and her...
Slowest Lunch Service EVER!
I volunteered to earn some extra cash today even though my driveway and the road was a sheet of ice. At leastI did have a good conversation today with Whit. At some point it turned to faking it. Basically, faking it means to fake your way through things that you find monotonous. Most people would rather just complain about doing something but Whit and I are the same, we tend to fake it. We...
I am having way too much fun deleting some people from my friends list on Facebook. I am already down by 40 and I plan on cutting it down even more.
I couldn't make this up if I tried.
Me: [Sees relationship status of a friend] Oh... My... I gotta' call Keshia.
Keshia: [Answers phone] Did you see what I just saw?!
Me: Oh my God, yes! How odd is that?!
Keshia: I know! I just told my mom, "I gotta' text Lindsay!" right when you called.
Me: We're too much alike.
Great minds think alike... After seven years of friendship.

damonator:
This is a great article written by JFK’s niece, refuting the recent attacks that Sarah Palin has made on JFK and the role of his faith during his campaign and presidency.
I really need to own her book, JFK’s niece, not Palin. She brings up some interesting points throughout the article that scare me about Palin holding any office in the Federal government.
It's SNOWING!!
Random Question of the Week:
What is your favorite Christmas song?
My favorite is Fruit Cake, the one that chorus’ sing at Christmas time.
“Chocolate cake and butter cake and cake with lots of spice / layer cakes and angel cakes, I think are very nice / But when it comes to Christmas time can anyone dispute / That when you bake a Christmas cake it really should be, surely could be, yes, it could be,...

Has been one of the worst months. My family has pretty much lived at the Holston Valley Medical Center, the hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee. Two weeks before Thanksgiving, I had a great-uncle enter the hospital because he couldn’t stop throwing up and passing blood. When he exited the hospital, this past Sunday, he had been given a total of 21 pints of blood. That’s not including...
It is sad to see this happen.
Tonight, I went to a concert that is pretty popular among all of us band geeks. It features quite a few fellow band members so we go and support them. Well, I used to support them. Now I see all of them for what they are. There were a number of my fraternity brothers there that either just stared at me or talked about me with me being able to see them. I used to be all about the brotherhood...
