Dear Single Mother from Work,
I am sorry that you had a baby at the age of 25 and the baby’s daddy is an illegal who got shipped back to Mexico but I don’t feel as though I should be punished, or have to pick up your slack, because you have a babysitter at night. I am sick and tired of you using that damn baby to get more money out of people and to convince our owners to let you go early because they feel sorry for you. You are the one who decided to have the thing and keep it. We, the single people at work, should not have to pick up your slack because your parents are yelling, you are losing money on a babysitter, you need this and that for the baby and never make any money, etc. All you do all day long is sit on your ass at home with the baby while I am working your lunch shifts, going to school full-time, working two internships, and working two jobs. I am beginning to lose sympathy for you and your baby because you use him as a tool to get what you want from everyone around you. I refuse to let you get away with this any longer and if that makes me a bitch then so be it.

I am a small town, twenty-something girl from North Carolina just trying to make it through college. I love history and politics so much I decided to major in them at Salem College. I hopefully will one day be a college professor.I tend to over think every thing; I am extremely ambitious to the point of self-destruction; and I am stubborn.
